I like eDeltaPro because it answers most of my empirical questions when designing a profitable strategy for options trading. My bread-and-butter strategy is selling vertical puts to collect premium. The questions include at what delta to sell and to buy, what is the best DTE, at what percentage to take profit, which symbols to trade (indices, ETFs, or stocks), and how much is the possible drawdown in portfolio. Since the answers are based on more than ten years of data, the results are likely to be similar in the next few years. From statistical view, the EOD data are the same as the data collected at one particular moment in real time, because both are an actual realization of many possible occurrences.
